Can I do the photoshoot from my own home?
Sure, as long as there is sufficient space for the concept and any additional lighting, we can shoot from your home, my home or anywhere that will allow us permission to conduct a photoshoot on their premises.

Why does a branding and marketing photoshoot cost more than a regular photoshoot when the process is very similar?
Additional image usage rights are included so you have more usage to for your imagery for your business. With a standard photoshoot only image search rights for portfolio and social media is included.
How can I put together a concept.
Send me some example images and I can put together a collaborative moodboard for our photoshoot which will contain details on any concepts & looks and important information about our photoshoot.
I have no idea to pose?
I will help you on the day, and also send you some prep sheets and video guidance for before the photoshoot.
I have no idea what to wear?
I will send you prep sheets to help you decide and I can even help you pick out outfits via instant messaging. If you prefer I can provide you with a list of some of my favourite stylists for you to reach out too, to work on your photoshoot with us?
Is makeup and hair included?
No, but I can provide you with a list of my favourite makeup artists for who you can reach out too, to work on your photoshoot with us?
If I want a stylist and or hair and makeup artist on the photoshoot can you organise this?
Ideally I would prefer you to source these people yourself, however I can reach out on your behalf to some of my preferred artists. The cost of their services will be added to my invoice and they will almost certainly also want a deposit to secure their time, so this will increase the initial deposit as well as the final price.
What if it looks like it’s going to rain, or rains during our outdoors photoshoot?
If the weather forecast looks miserable for shoot day the day before the shoot, we will reschedule. If it rains during our shoot we can find cover and make up for the lost time once it stops raining. If we run out of time because we have a hard stop time, we can reschedule the remainder of the shoot.
Can I get a refund if my shoot gets called off due to bad weather or I am ill?
Deposits to secure my time are non refundable, which is usually 50% of the full booking fee. If the shoot needs to be cancelled and for whatever reason we are unable to reschedule the shoot and you’ve already paid the full shoot fee, then 50% of the full shoot fee can be returned minus any additional non refundable fees such as studio rental fees.
How do I get my images?
Depending on the type of photography purchased, you may first have to make selections of the images you want to be post processed. I will then post process those images and deliver them to you within 3 weeks. Delivery is made via the pic-time platform and you can download the images in high resolution from their platform.

Can I order prints, wall-art or photo books?
Yes, I can supply quality prints, wall-art and photo books for reasonable prices and use a local print lab, not an internet based one. I am able to quality control the prints before they are delivered to you. Contact to discuss options and pricing.
What’s involved in post processing?
I will colour grade the images and do retouching where required such as removing skin blemishes that may have been there on the day, but wouldn’t be there in 2 weeks time for example.
Do you remove tattoos?
No, unless you want me too, let me know.
Do you remove scars?
No, unless you want me too, let me know.
Can you make my face thinner and make me look thinner?
Yes, but I would discourage this. If this is something you are conscious about we will hopefully problem solve it on the day with posing techniques and camera angles. If you still insist you want your appearance changed then this can be discussed.
Do you use AI?
For a creative concept or if the background needs extending, I may use generative fill technologies within Adobe photoshop. The main elements of the image will never be replaced with AI unless we have a concept that is just impossible to do on the day and we discuss potentially adding those elements with AI in post production.
I want to use the images you took for magazines?
Contact me for more information, as the copyright owner of the images you must discuss any usage outside of the original contract with me before submitting for magazine spreads or advertising campaigns.
Why do I need to buy image usage rights for advertising purposes?
You need to buy image usage rights for advertising because advertising is considered a commercial use of the image — and the copyright owner (the photographer) controls how their work is used commercially.
When you buy or license an image, you’re essentially paying for the legal right to use it in a specific way (like in adverts, social media campaigns, posters, etc.). Without securing the proper rights, you could be sued for copyright infringement, even if you didn’t mean any harm. Advertising typically needs broader or more expensive rights because the image is helping promote or sell something, and the exposure is often much bigger compared to personal or editorial use.
Can I not just buy the copyright of the images from you?
You can buy the copyright of my images — but it’s usually much more expensive than the image usage rights. Buying the copyright means you fully own the image: you can use it however you like, forever, even resell or licence it yourself. However, most photographers and artists prefer to license usage rights instead of selling full copyright, because keeping copyright allows them to keep control over their work. If you really need full ownership (say, for a long-term advertising campaign, a brand identity, or exclusive use without limits), we’ll need to negotiate a copyright transfer agreement — often at a much higher price.
Can you fly your drone anywhere?
Within reason and as long as I follow the CAA code. It’s possible to fly anywhere with land owners permission or permission from areas where there is regulated airspace. Contact me to discuss where you want drone photography and I will look into all this for you.
Can you fly your drone in heavy wind and rainy weather?
No, if the weather is not suitable for flying my drone the drone flight will need to be rescheduled. I will try and make this call at least 24 hours before the scheduled flight.
Do you photograph events, birthdays, weddings etc?
While it’s not my niche, yes I can do this for you. I will discuss key information with you beforehand to ensure the imagery you want captured is completed to the best of my ability.
