Work with Me – Portrait/Fashion Studio

Please review my portrait portfolio as this evidences my styles of work.

Due to a currently full calendar I am only taking on select TFP (Trade for Print) collaboration projects in the Portraits & Fashion space. Please contact me for more bespoke opportunities should you wish to continue to reach out.

Collaborations (Trade/Time for Print – TFP)

  • You must have modelling experience as proven by your social media profiles and have at least 1000 followers on Instagram. You’ll have a PurplePort/Modelfolio or similar modelling page where references can be checked, and you can also check mine!
  • Images will be licensed for portfolio and social media usage only. For images to be used for any other purpose (including digital magazines**), please get in touch to further discuss.
  • You must tag me in all shared photographs across such platforms whenever reposted (for example should still be mentioned in ‘memories’ type posts.) I will do the same. Exposure doesn’t pay either of our bills but well thought out collaborations can be beneficial to all parties involved.
  • Collaborations and TFP must be arranged for weekends, or after 5pm on weekdays. Daytime weekday arrangements can be made if the subject or theme is extraordinary.
  • Option 1: On location shoot in public locations using natural light. Day or night. If weather forecast looking unfavourable 24 hours before planned shoot, this may need to be rescheduled dependant on location or style of shoot planned.
  • Option 2: A photoshoot from the comfort of your own home, my home, or any other private residence you have access to with my mobile studio.
  • Option 3: A photoshoot using a professional photographic studio. Costs for hiring the studio must be shared 50/50. If the person who has paid for the booking has not received 50% back from the other person at least 72 hours before the shoot. The shoot may be cancelled, or the other party is able to offer the studio time to another model/photographer.
  • Initial discussions and mood board to agree the assignment and date of work.
  • 2 hours shooting time. Shooting time starts as soon as the first photo is taken and includes any travel time to other locations as well as any wardrobe, makeup changes once the first photo has been taken. Shooting time in a studio will vary depending on how long it will take to set the studio lighting up and any other additional props. We can discuss how long we may need to book the studio for as both setting up and taking down our setup as well as any wardrobe/makeup changes will need to be done within the studio booking time.
  • As many wardrobe changes to suit your needs.
  • Friend/partner/chaperone welcome to accompany you. They may be asked to provide support such as holding a reflector if they are happy to do so.
  • Unfortunately, at this time I cannot provide a makeup artist (MUA). Please ensure you’re able to touch up your own makeup as and when required or bring your own MUA.
  • I have many strobes and lighting modifiers which can be used to create various looks as well as various backdrops. A video call may be required to confirm there is adequate space should you wish to do full body length shots from your own or any other private residence.
  • On average 100 watermarked images for you to choose 12 selections from will be made available within 48 hours. If using a studio this may be less than 100 depending on how long we have booked the studio for and how long it takes to set lighting and props up as well as take it back down and doing any makeup or wardrobe changes which all needs to be done within the studio booking time.
  • 12 retouched high resolution digital images within 2 weeks of you making your selection with portfolio and social media usage rights as standard. If images are to be used for any other purpose include online digital magazines**, please get in touch for a bespoke quote.
  • Additional retouched images, £15 each.
  • Prints or Photobooks can be made available at an extra cost. These won’t be pushed onto you, so if it’s something you’d like please discuss when you receive your images.
  • 50% of the full cost of any incurred shared non reusable expenses (such as studio fees, outfits, props, body paint etc) is required to be paid to whomever has incurred the original cost a minimum of 72 hours before the agreed shoot date unless the person intends to use the item again, in which case they should incur the full cost of the item.
  • All parties involved must sign agreements on how the images can be used and what levels the shoot is being worked at so no boundaries are being pushed on shoot. Photographer retains copyright to images in the UK, so this is especially important for TFP assignments that agreements are in place before the shoot takes place. Images to be used for any other purpose outside of the agreement will require an additional fee per picture which can be discussed and agreed before the shoot.
  • NOTE: Every studio has a damage policy, and some even charge to replace any paper backdrop that they deem ‘unreusable’ after it’s been used per metre. I will discuss what the studio in question’s policy is with you as this may be a further additional expense that is incurred after the shoot. For paper backdrop expenses we will 50/50 the expense. Any other damage to studio equipment if not caused by myself, you will be invoiced the full amount to replace the equipment.
  • Travel Expenses may still need to be considered but it will depend on where the shoot is and how much travelling we are both doing. E.g. If we are both trekking 50 miles somewhere then I won’t charge for my milage, but if I am travelling 50 miles to you then mileage will be charged at 45p per mile after the first 20 miles. My standard travelling expenses information can be found here.
  • Click here to make contact to discuss the above.
  • **If images are to be used for any other purpose including online digital mags, please contact. I’m pretty flexible depending on the idea so don’t be afraid to ask!
